Today’s episode is about hustling and how hustling is costing you. There’s a lot of people out there, gurus or professionals that are telling you to hustle. To work 24 hours a day, sleep for two, there are all kinds of hustle messages out there. I think what’s really important is looking at is the idea of what that is actually costing people. If you are in a constant go-mode, you’re constantly hustling, and you’re working really hard. Let’s face it, there are only some times in your life when that’s actually going to work. I want you to know that you can still succeed. Even though you aren’t in a space where you could hustle all the time. Here is how:
- Being present in what you are doing, working, spending time with your family and friends or with yourself.
- Set your goals and plan accordingly.
- People who hustle for a purpose will actually choose an end in mind goal. They will do all of the things on the list in order to make that happen. You could use the exact same mentality and just lose the hustle.
- Work on the things that you really want to work on, delegate the things you don’t, then focus on what you actually want to be doing in your business.
- If you are someone who has a family, or a spouse, or ageing parents, or other responsibility, please take time for yourself, for them and take time away from your business.
Not everybody is meant to hustle. Personally, I am not meant to hustle. I take a much smoother approach. By setting my goals and working on the tasks that are going to get me to my end in mind goal, that is how I am able to still accomplish the things I do in my business without hustling because to me, my sleep is important. When I do that, and when I do it consistently and well, I become way happier with my business, and much happier with the outcome, because the outcome itself is driven by being present. So I hope that you begin to question the concept of hustling, and whether or not it is or isn’t for you.
