As I look back at my business, and reflect on the past 6 years I am astounded by where I started and where I am today! Even looking back through the past year there have been a lot of changes and periods of growth. One of the things that I am most proud about is that every year my business has grown, and produced more income each year.
I remember sitting in my living room many years ago now, on the advice of a coach I was writing down what my ideal day would look like. To be completely honest was I wrote it, I didn’t think it was possible! I thought it was a hope and a dream… funny thing is, that all of those things I wrote down eventually came true!
I have built my business strategically, and made sure to plan and implement new things as I learned them. I didn’t start my business with a business plan or a degree in business, but I jumped in with two feet. This isn’t the easiest way to build a business, and I have had a lot of ups and downs, not to mention all the mistakes I made along the way!
I still have a lot to learn, and that is why I lean on my mentors and coaches. I find people who have “been there, done that” and learn from their expertise. I have always had strong positive women who I have leaned on. This year I am stepping it up a notch and I have enrolled in a 1 year coaching program with yet another strong and positive woman. I look forward to sharing my growth with you.
Moving your business forward and making it successful comes down to planning and implementing. The years where I have seen the biggest growths have been when I have had a business coach. You know the saying “hindsight is 20/20”? Waiting to make mistakes that can put you way further behind than you might imagine is no longer worth the heartache for me. A coach can often see the “hindsight” before you can. As your coach I will be the one who is looking ahead to see what steps need to be done first. You will be able to learn from not only the mistakes I have already made, but from the multitudes of other strong women have made in my circles as well.
Where do you want to be in a year? Perhaps you don’t think it is possible like I didn’t, write it out anyway… dream, then start planning. You will never know if you can live your dream unless you start to figure out what it is your dream is.
