Mood Music

Today I am introducing you to a really neat program. It is called Mood Agent.

This helps me enjoy more of my music.  If you are like me you have a lot of music, and I generally listen to my favorites and never get a chance to hear new ones using a traditional playlists.  Mood Agent automatically profiles my music based on emotion, mood, genre, sub-genre, style, tempo, beat, vocals, instruments and production features.

To create a mood based playlist, just change the sliders to choose your mood:

Each of the bars on the left hand side can be adjusted up or down to change the mood of the music. You just have to touch the bar where you want it to be, rather than slide it up or down The application will choose music from your library that matches the mood you chose. At any time you can change the sliders and it will create a new playlist If you are happy with your playlist and you want to hear it again just save the playlist. You can also click the recommendation button, which is the bottom right button that looks like a musical note in an eye. The recommend will play an excerpt of the song it suggests before moving on the the next song on your list.

I have just downloaded the PC version of the software to test it out.  I would love to hear from you about this app or any others that you like.
