Sleep for 7 hours.<\/p>\n
Funny how this is the rule for \u201ctoday\u201d which turns out it is yesterday. I was so tired last night that I didn\u2019t get a chance to write this before going to bed.<\/p>\n
This is a very important part of everyday life, but it is important to have quality, not just quantity. Think about the last time that you went to visit relatives and you had to sleep on the fold out couch, remember the bar that would dig into your back? You could get 7 hours of sleep there and it just wouldn\u2019t be the same as sleeping 7 hours in your own bed. Now think about the last time you were able to sleep in your own bed alone :) I share my bed with my husband, so whenever I have had the opportunity to sleep in the bed alone.. I get to take over the whole bed! That is awesome.<\/p>\n
When we sleep, that is when our bodies repair themselves, our brain functions to lock in everything that we learned during the day. You body repairs everything while you sleep as well. One thing I learned in the last year is that at night our skin actually repairs itself as well. We shed our dead skin cells and our pores open up.
