I really believe this is true. It is something that has been part of my thought process for a long time. I am going to translate what I have heard about this idea, and maybe what you believe, into something a little different.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Highlights:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I used to think it was only the five people I spend most of my personal time with. But when I really dug deep I discovered there&#8217;s more than just five people. There are the people inside our business and there are the people in our personal lives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are influenced by so many people in so many areas. Think of all your personal stuff, your business teams, your clients and their teams\u2026 we are way over 15 people already! We influence each other all the time and everywhere.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I&#8217;m willing to listen to other people&#8217;s opinions. It doesn&#8217;t mean to say that they&#8217;re gonna change my mind. At the end of the day, I don&#8217;t think it necessarily comes down to who is right or who is wrong. In the end, my opinion is based on my experiences and the stories I tell myself. These are the things that shape who we are.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have ideas or opinions that are really important to you, but you are lacking confidence,\u00a0 then you must find people who will support you.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The people we surround ourselves with shape us to who we are\u2026 and that number is much higher than 5.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this episode, I want to talk to you about how the people or personalities we surround ourselves with will help shape who we become.
